Josh's Bar Mitzvah
I had the pleasure of photographing Josh's Bar Mitzvah on Sunday morning, August 28, 2022, at Chabad Romano in Thornhill. The family arrived looking stunning in their Bar Mitzvah outfits, and everyone was excited for the celebration ahead.
We began with a mini-session of Josh outdoors. He looked very handsome in his grey suit and blue tie. Having worked with Josh and his family before, we already had a good rapport, which made the session smooth and enjoyable. After Josh, I photographed his younger sisters who were equally fun to work with.
I made sure to capture the playful interaction between the three siblings as well as capture shots with Josh's parents and the immediate family. The grandparents were also included in the photos, and it was heartwarming to see the special bond between the generations.
Rabbi Shlomo led a beautiful service and Josh's Torah reading was excellent. He made his family so proud!
After the service, we moved into the social hall next door for a delicious lunch. The kids had fun getting temporary tattoos and decorating colourful toques courtesy of Little Miss Henna.
Over the course of the lunch, I photographed the speeches, slideshow, hora, Bar Mitzvah cake, and shots of family and friends. It was a simcha filled with love, joy, and cherished memories.
